2020 has been a real kick in the pants for our business community. Plus, starting a coworking space during the middle of a pandemic has been interesting–to say the least.

As renovations get underway at 114 E. Everett St. in Dixon, IL, RiverWorks Coworking would like to introduce the unique and exciting form of shared workspaces. We will be located nearly at the intersection of Everett St. and Galena Ave.  Many of you area folk will remember this location as it housed the Clifton Larson Allen (C.L.A) accounting firm. Everest Hospitality LLC bought the building in late 2019 with plans to bring the Sauk Valley region its first shared flexible office space.

We are planning on an early 2022 official opening of RiverWorks Coworking.

What is coworking?

A coworking office space is unlike traditional office spaces, where you pay not only rent but also for utilities and WiFi. Top that with spending money on office furniture and business machines like printers/copiers/scanners. The list goes on and on.

Our space includes furniture, a business center, fast WiFi, a bookable conference room, a café, free coffee, and more all for ONE monthly membership fee.

When the coffee shop or working at home doesn’t cut it anymore

RiverWorks will cater to entrepreneurs, scalable start-ups, freelancers, remote workers, and established businesses that need a flexible workspace with distinct features and amenities. Enjoy a distraction-free work environment that has secured key access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. RiverWorks has security in place with broadband Wi-Fi, VPN, and ethernet-enabled private offices.

From our RiverWorks flex desks, dedicated desks, and private office memberships, rest assured your need for community, comfort, and privacy will be met.

As the construction work progresses, we will be posting updates. Consider taking a tour in the very near future to see if your business is ready for the next step.
